Based in the midlands, Nottingham Bears Flag Football Club is renowned for its friendly and welcoming attitude and its keenness to promote the sport of Flag Football to everyone in the community.

Nottingham Bears was founded by Gareth Lucyszyn in 2012 with a mission to actively promote and facilitate Flag Football to the local community. Originally called the Beeston Bears, in 2016 the team was rebranded the Nottingham bears. Since its founding, the club has grown rapidly since then and continues to encourage new members, of all abilities, to take up the sport.

The club was set up to be open, honest and without barriers to participation so that anyone - irrespective of ability, background, ethnicity, or circumstance – would be encouraged to play Flag Football.
